The father-of-the-bride surprised everyone with a “slightly altered rendition” of Eric Clapton’s “Wonderful Tonight”.  There wasn’t a dry eye in the room, including Dani and I.  His serenade beautifully summarized Nikki + Matt’s perfect wedding day.  This is a great video to share with those that don’t see the value in hiring an event filmmaker.  Imagine if this precious moment was documented with only still photography.

The Indiana Roof Ballroom has to be our favorite wedding reception venue in downtown Indianapolis. It’s hard to get a bad shot in there. Shannon and Chad had a wonderful wedding celebration and it was a blast being a part of it. This trailer features our usual full HD cinema footage as well as some classic silent movie footage shot with antique cameras.

So this is how a DJ gets married!
Dani and I had the privilege of documenting the wedding of Laura & Jeff (DJ Orion) on July 23rd, 2011.
DJ Orion (the groom; Radio NOW 100.9), DJ Lockstar, DJ Indiana Jones, and a few others had a go at the turntables throughout the night. With the help of Lori Solomon and the Boldly Chic Events team, Laura & Jeff had a fun, energetic wedding that rocked the Stutz Building in downtown Indianapolis. Earlier that day, they exchanged some personalized, heartfelt vows during their wedding ceremony at Robert’s Park Methodist Church. It was a thrill for us to be a part of this wedding. Laura & Jeff (and their crazy friends) sure know how to have fun!

It’s been a few years since we shot a wedding in the Central Library in downtown Indianapolis. It’s definitely one of our favorite Indy venues and it was the prefect setting for two teacher to tie the knot. Sarah & Andy met while teaching at the same school, but I’ll let them tell you more throughout this teaser trailer.

On May 21st, 2011, Teresa and Drew became husband and wife at the wonderful Mavris Arts & Event Center. Here is a glance at how that day unfolded.

This is the full feature wedding film for Mimi and Jim. What a fun wedding this was! Mimi and Jim surprised their guests with a choreographed swing dance which was a big hit and I just love watching the reactions of the guests.

About Our FEATURE FILMS
Every feature film is created from the ground up, tailored around each couple. The couples are able to help design the soundtrack by providing a list of recommended songs, favorite artists and genera.

Our feature wedding films range in duration from 18-30 minutes. The purpose of a feature wedding films is to capture the viewer’s attention right away and maintain that interest throughout the duration of the edit. Using a series of soundbites, timeshifts, and a moving soundtrack, a feature edit is designed so that the couple has a powerful, tear-jerking movie starring the two of them along with their friends and family. The idea is to provide the couple with a wedding video where you never feel the need to hit fast-forward. A film that can be shown to someone that doesn’t even know the couple and they actually WANT to watch the whole thing! A film that can me proudly shared within the family for generations.

An extended, documentary edit can also be purchased that includes the entire ceremony, all the toasts and formal dances in their entirety. We might even toss in some bonuses that are exclusive to each wedding such as, a groom singing on stage, a funny family reception tradition, bloopers and more. We never know what we’ll capture.

Having a wedding at the Scottish Rite in downtown Indianapolis is a great idea. The classic architecture sets the atmosphere for a warm, inviting event. Luckily, A Touch of Elegance was their to help the day move along smoothly.

The ceremony took place inside the classic St. John Catholic Church (built in 1837, it was the first Catholic church in Indy). Brock & Sarah sped away from the celebration in a 1953 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith by Antique Limousine of Indianapolis. The rain held of while we got some shots on the streets downtown. As soon as we entered the Indianapolis Artsgarden for the reception, the rain began. Perfect timing . Dave Kemp with DJ On The Rocks filled the glassy dome with some great tunes starting with some Miley Cyrus – “Party in the U.S.A” which got the guests on the floor right away.

Brock & Sarah’s wedding was so much fun! I hope you enjoy viewing their short film.
