Learning from our peers in the industry is priceless. Anytime that we are able to grow in our knowledge for our business we seize the opportunity.

POSH is an all female event filmmaker retreat which took place in beautiful Cancun, Mexico this November. This is a conference that not only further educates it’s attendees through the knowledgeable speakers and their presentations, but also from being surrounded by the other talented women throughout the 4-day experience. The presenters covered not only the technical side filmmaking, but also some great ideas behind storytelling and marketing. We were also given a free day to soak up the sun, which gave me the opportunity for a nice run along the shoreline.

It was also a great opportunity to spend some more time with some of the other women in the industry worldwide. We were able to share thoughts on business and craft, was so helpful to hear from so many different perspectives. Some of these women have been shooting since the early 90′s, and some have only been shooting for only a year. Everyone had something different to offer.

I’m excited to take the knowledge and inspiration that I achieved at POSH and apply it to our work at Jet Kaiser Films. What a wonderful adventure!

Jet was invited to the Indianapolis Artsgarden to help celebrate the launch of Wedding Day Magazine’s brand new Central Indiana Edition coming this Fall. What fun it was to gather with Indy’s top-knotch event vendors to enjoy a bridal fashion show, a Wish Upon A Wedding benefit auction, chocolate-covered strawberries and even a purple carpet entrance to make this gala official.

What made this night even sweeter was being able to work along side of Indiana’s finest photog, Jessica Strickland. Be sure to check out her lovely visual interpretation of the night on her blog.

Thomas Caterers of Distinction hosted their annual food tasting event for the first time at the beautiful D’Amore.
Jet Kaiser Films was asked to capture all food and excitement of the night on video. I had the privilege to shoot along side of Erin & John from Erin Hession Photography the entire night! Check out their photos from the event here.We had a blast! I was able to hang out with some vendor friends and make some new ones. Can’t wait for next year! If you are engaged, be sure to check out the D’Amore for your wedding reception, located at the center of it all on the top floor of the Chase Tower.
